Working with zedders

Trust, first steps, your time, and when things go wrong.

Why should we trust you?

You'll be working directly with someone who has done the work: three years as a paralegal in a commercial firm, now finishing a law degree. No account managers, no hand-offs.

How do we get started? What's the first step?

A thirty-minute discovery call. It is diagnostic, not a pitch: we talk through where your firm's time is going and work out what, if anything, is worth doing. You do not need a defined project, or even a clear idea of what you need. You will leave with a clearer picture either way.

How much of our time will this take while you're working with us?

Not much. The heavy lifting is zedders'. Your input is concentrated up front in scoping and again at testing and handover, with light touchpoints in between. The whole point is to give time back, so the engagement is designed not to become another drain on a stretched team.

What impact does your legal background have on your AI consultancy?

It changes where the engagement time goes. zedders already understands how legal work happens, so scoping skips the basics and goes straight to how your firm runs. No explaining what a matter involves, or why a lease registration checklist looks the way it does. That means faster scoping, solutions that fit how your work actually happens, and judgement about where a lawyer must stay in the loop. A generalist agency learns all of that on your time.

What happens when AI gets something wrong?

AI can produce output that looks right and is not, so human review is built into every workflow rather than assumed away. zedders scopes AI to tasks where errors are catchable and low-stakes, and keeps a lawyer in the loop on anything that leaves the firm or cannot be undone. Treat AI as another paralegal: fast and useful, but checked before it goes out.
